Why they moved to QS Tools

Every one of these calculations is something a good QS already does, usually in a spreadsheet they built themselves. Keeping them free is not generosity, it is the point. What we changed is where they live: standalone calculators now sit on QS Tools so they can be maintained properly in one place rather than drifting across two sites.

They also make a point we would rather demonstrate than assert. Most commercial exposure is not a maths problem. The formula for the eight week time bar is trivial; knowing the date you became aware of the event is not, because that date is buried in a site diary nobody had time to read. That gap is what Gather exists to close, and no calculator closes it for you.
