A site inspection was carried out to assess the condition of the existing troughing. Observations noted areas of wear and degradation that could impact the stability of the new cable containment installation.

Shift Comments

During the shift, the team was engaged in the cable containment installation (C19) at location CH1/235 under HV works. The planned scope was to complete 60 metres of installation. However, progress was halted after 30 metres due to the discovery of an unexpected live cable within the excavation area. For safety reasons, work was immediately stopped to prevent any hazards. The variance falls under 'Unexpected Physical Conditions.' Further assessment is required before resuming activities to ensure safe continuation of works.

You've tried software before.
It didn't stick.

Paper diaries get lost. Excel has no evidence value. And the last app you deployed? Nobody used it after week two.

The paper & Excel problem

Paper diaries get lost

Left in site cabins, damaged by rain, illegible.

Excel has no evidence value

No photos, GPS, or timestamps. Won't hold up in a dispute.

20+ hours monthly consolidating

QSs spend weekends copying data into spreadsheets.

Why other apps failed

Too many required fields

20+ minutes per record. Supervisors abandon them.

No offline capability

Useless in tunnels, basements, and remote sites.

No voice entry

Typing with cold fingers and gloves? Not happening.

Amey

"We used to update our team on our completed works via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp groups. We had separate processes for monitoring resource and labour and two different forms that needed to be filled out. Gather has put everything in one place for us."

Mark Fowley

Construction Manager, Amey

We don't just deploy.
We make it stick.

In-person site training

We come to your site and train supervisors on their actual devices. Not a webinar. Real training.

"Gather is a link between the day team and the night team. The diary is prepared by the staff on days planning the jobs and passed on to the night team who execute the plan. Information is stored in one place. Everyone is sharing the same information. No desktop saving."

Zak Zvakaramba

Senior Project Manager, Balfour Beatty

Commercial Intelligence

Don't let value leak through the cracks.

Compensation events start as small site instructions or minor delays. Gather captures these triggers digitally at the source, ensuring you have the evidence to get paid.

Daywork Sheets

Labour, plant, and material allocations captured instantly with photo evidence. No more lost paper sheets.

PM Instructions

Verbal site instructions recorded, timestamped, and GPS-tagged. Linked directly to the schedule.

Delays & Events

Unexpected stops flagged for CE review by our AI Agent before they become disputes.

Cubby

"Gather eliminates the 'he said, she said' from the conversation. With quality, well-rounded data from site, we can now communicate calmly using facts and compare our productivity target to actual delivery."

Tommy Cubby

Director - Cubby Construction
