This policy explains how Gather Insights Limited collects, uses and protects personal data across our website, the Gather platform and our related services, including Gather QS AI for Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Gather QS AI for Microsoft 365 Copilot

This section applies if you use Gather QS AI, our agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot.

What we receive: your Gather sign-in, and the requests the agent makes to our API, such as Project identifiers, search terms and date ranges.
What we do not receive: your Microsoft password or your full Copilot conversation. We only see the specific requests the agent sends to Gather.
What we return: Gather records you are already permitted to see. Access is read-only, and your permissions are checked on every request.
Microsoft's role: Microsoft processes your prompts, responses and sign-in tokens within Microsoft 365 under its own terms and privacy statement.
Retention: we keep API request logs only for as long as needed for security, support and troubleshooting.
Revoking access: disconnect or remove the agent in Microsoft 365, or contact support@gatherinsights.com.
